Haworth is often remembered for its windswept moors, literary legacy, and picturesque romantic charm.

But beneath that image lies something far less pleasant.

This walk takes you back to a time when the village was overcrowded, unsanitary, and, at times, deadly. When waste ran through the streets, clean water was anything but, and survival was far from guaranteed.

We’ll visit the sites where Haworth’s darker realities played out.
